Yes, with every major airline, you can take a stroller on a plane. If you are flying on a smaller airplane, check with your specific airline to see what their policies are for traveling with a stroller.

Don’t forget to check in with the airline counter before boarding the flight to get a tag to put on the stroller. With any major airline, you will be able to push your child in a stroller all the way down to plane doors, right before boarding the airplane. At that point, they will stow the stroller below for you until you’ve reached your destination. The airline will then bring the stroller back to the same spot you left it, so that you can pick it up upon exiting the aircraft.

This is why having an easy to fold stroller is important to have when traveling with little ones. Some strollers are so easy to collapse that you can do it with a simple press of a button on the stroller. You can find our review on the best strollers in 2023 for travel, which includes some of the lightest, smallest, easy to collapse, TSA approved strollers available.

Of course, if you have a stroller that collapses to a small size, you also have the option of bringing it onboard the plane and putting it in the overhead bin of the aircraft.
